What is the funniest thing that has ever happened on a tour?
As part of the Turkish hospitality we offer colourful Turkish delights to our customers for them to eat. I was checking in to a hotel with my group and the bell boy brought a box full of colourful chalks and asked the guests to take one to write their room numbers on to their bags. But one of my guests missed the explanation and thought that those colourful chalks were in fact not chalks but Turkish delights and got one red to eat. His mouth was all red and came to me and said "Evren that doesn’t taste as good as the ones you gave out yesterday".
What is the best place to visit in your country?
My favorite part of the country is known as Likya in ancient times and today's southwest part of Turkey. It is the place where turquoise waters of the Med washes the beaches and it is the place where the Taurus Mountains pierce the skyline. It is a place where 2000 years of history light up the future, and the place where locals have a hospitable smile on their faces.
What is the most interesting custom in your country?
Turkey is geographically located where 3 continents Asia, Europe and Africa come closest to each other. This colours the social life of Turkey. A visit to any part of Turkey may suprise you with traditional wedding ceremonies, oil wrestling competitions, local folklaric dance shows or national day parades. As Italians say one life is not enough to cover all Turkey!

What are the most important items to pack for your tour?
Trainers, clean socks, sun cream.
