What is your travel experience/background?

I’m a mountain guide qualified by the centre of the mountain guides, CFAMM in Tabant. I have also my professional card from the ministry of tourism in Rabat .
 
I have travelled across the trails and valleys of the region since early childhood.  As an adult, I have chosen to follow my passion and to share it with others through my thorough knowledge of the Atlas range, the local people, their dialect and their customs…
 
I have travelled mountain ranges and Moroccan deserts on foot and by 4x4. Over the years I have guided many tourists through the desert. In addition, I have worked with many English and French Travel companies. 
 
What is your favourite activity /event on the trips you lead?

As well as walking in the high Atlas Mountains, the desert, the Atlantic coast … I like biking, swimming & football.

What is the best thing about your job?

The best thing about my job is meeting lots of people with different personalities!
Always my aim is to show the wealth of natural riches the Atlas Range has to offer, as well as the wonderful people living in these valleys. I prefer to emphasize an ‘authentic’ tourism approach, respecting the Berber traditions with a genuine exchange of culture and ideas.
 
In your mind, what is the best place to visit in your country?

The best place for me is the cities, because I like the history. But I also really like the occidental high Atlas (Toubkal range), because it’s not so far from Marrakech and I like the snow.
 
In your mind, what is the most important phrase to know?

The most important phrases to know are:
-- Salam Alikoum (peace be with you) which means hello.
-- Chokran: thank you
 
In your mind, when is the best time to visit and why?

The best time to visit is all year round, because in brief it’s very nice all the time!
In the summer not very hot , not very cold , and more green ... and in the winter it’s very nice using the crampons.
