Trekking holidays can be challenging. But we believe anyone can trek. All you need is reasonable fitness and a little determination. It’s high time you joined in the spirit of adventure.
To help you choose the right trekking trip we grade each trek based on terrain, length of walks and climate. Most of our treks require little or no technical experience so as long as you're fit and come with a positive attitude there won't be a mountain high enough.
You'll be walking for around 2-4 hours each day, with the odd longer day. It's easy terrain with gentle ascents and descents. Suitable for anyone in good health.
You'll enjoy 3 - 6 hours daily walks over rugged terrain with regular ascents and descents. The max altitude is c 3,000m, so requires a reasonable level of fitness.
Tough half or full-day walks over rough terrain with steep ascents and descents (up to 1,000m a day). Good physical condition is essential and preparation advisable.
Full-day 6-8 hour walks. Ascents and descent are up to 1,000m at altitudes up to 6,000m. The environments are challenging so an excellent physical condition and trekking experience is essential
Family Trekking Holidays
Looking for the perfect family challenge? We offer exciting treks for families with teens. The Atlas Mountains in Morocco are the perfect place to start with breathtaking views on a two day trek. Lucky teens can trek the iconic Inca Trail to see the lost city of Machu Picchu. Or, for the ultimate challenge, why not take on our amazing Everest Teen Trek?
Want to summit Africa’s highest freestanding mountain? There’s more than one way to the top. Choose from four routes, including the classic Marangu route, the scenic Lemosho route, the more challenging Machame route or the unusual Rongai route. Then watch the sunrise from the roof of Africa.
Take on the Mount Toubkal summit challenge at 4,167m or push yourself to the limit and attempt to summit during winter. For those not quite ready for a summit attempt take leisurely day hikes through the Amizmiz Valley, to the Tizi Ouanoums Pass or summit Toubkal's little sister, Ouanoukrim at 4,088m.
The tallest mountain in the world stands for many things: human endeavor, adventure and achievement. This 12 day trek is graded strenuous but our well trained Guides make sure the pace is easy and steady, so you can enjoy the little villages, lush forests and spectacular vistas.
Trek to Machu Picchu on the classic 4-day ancient Inca Trail, try our extended higher path which takes you higher for longer, or go off the beaten path on a remote alternative trek. As trekking permits are in high demand we recommend you book early and offer 5% off all Inca trips when you book six months or more in advance of travelling
Stay closer to home and head to Europe to try the Kyrenia Trails, Cyprus or the infamous Turkish Lycian Way for coastal walks and the chance to explore the fairy chimneys of Cappadoccia. This treks are graded easy and don’t require more than good health.
