Expedition Cruising

Antarctica and the High Arctic are two of the last great untouched wildernesses on Earth. A trip to one of these spectacular locations will take you on the ultimate adventure of a lifetime – to a land of white natural beauty, mesmerising emptiness and wonderful wildlife. Wander amongst the penguins in Antarctica or whale watch from your zodiac boat before jumping aboard your expedition ship to listen to our polar experts. There's no greater adventure than travelling to the ends of the earth.

Life on board
The ships you sail on are small expedition ships, equipped for extreme conditions. The majority have twin share cabins with shared facilities and the chance to upgrade. All meals are provided in communal dining rooms, there's a well-stocked library and the chance to watch fascinating presentations on anything and everything polar. All our ships are complete with comfortable quarters and an expert crew and team of onboard specialists. Spend your time on deck spotting polar bears and emerald glaciers, practice your photography or learn about the hunting habits of local wildlife.
Zodiac expeditions
Each expedition vessel is equipped with a small inflatable boat - a Zodiac. From these small boats you take land excursions onto the frozen shores to get closer to the ice and wildlife accompanied by a host of experts, including marine biologists, geologists and historians, to bring the landscape to life. From your zodiac sit and watch as beluga whales surface or walk amongst the penguins.
