Hi, Just booked a place on this trip. Will be flying from Gatwick with Easyjet and traveling down from the Swindon area to there.
Has anybody done any winter treking before?

Hi Jon Yes -done a bit in the french Alps but not here - Went to Nepal in November -great time but you wouldnt call it winter trekking as we were only at 4200 m which at this time of year in Nepal is frosty/cold but no need for crampons as the snow line kicks in higher! Off ski ing to Verbier tomorrow for 5 days so will take my crampons and ice axe in case i get a spare minute !!
Thanks Frank, hope skiing went well. Just got some crampons from ebay, just got to get an ice axe then i'm all sorted.
