Afternoon Guys,
Nice to meet you, i'm Paul. I will be on the mount Toubkal trip leaving 10th may - 18th. Is this the same trip you are on?
Afraid not! I am on the trip at the end of May. Good luck with your trip - send us a report!
Hi Paul,
I'm on the trip leaving the 10th May. Nice to meet you!
Hi Louise,
Glad to know there are at least 2 of us then. haha.
Are you looking forward to it? Not long now.
Have you got all of your kit together? I'v got most of the bits i think i need, but a long trek in the mountains is completely new to me, so a bit of guess work involved.
Have you done anything like this before?
O are you travelling by yourself or have you others coming with you?
Hello Paul and Louise.
I'm Victoria and I also am on the trip starting on the 10th. I'm travelling solo and arrive in Morocco on Monday, having a few days to chill and hopefully get used to the hot weather. I've done a couple of treks before (not in Morocco) and the most important thing is that you have comfy shoes and socks the rest is up to you really.
I look forward to meeting you both on Friday, are you doing the flight included trip? I'm just hoping I manage to find the hotel alright.
Victoria.
Hi Paul and Victoria,
Most of my bag is taken up with my sleeping bag so I've not got room for much else (they did say pack lightly) but I've got the essentials which is the main thing. Don't worry about taking lots Paul, I did Kili a couple of years ago and hardly used most of the stuff I took. The only thing I would suggest is maybe some gaffer tape....if something breaks it usually fixes it for the short time until you are back down the mountain!
I'm travelling by myself and on the flight from London Heathrow at 18:10, bit of a late arrival but I booked it quite late so can't complain!
Victoria - Don't know if you'll get this but hope you're having a lovely time. I did want to go out a couple of days earlier but didn't quite work out.
Louise
