Just to let you know that our maximum number of travellers on our holidays is 16 people, so don't worry they really are small groups!
Hi, I went on my first solo trip with the adventure company last year on the desert adventure and it was fantastic. The people were great and and i was well looked after. Going to peru this year and hope to make some new friends again.:d/
I went to Sri Lanka last year as a solo. Was my first ever trip away without family and I loved every minute!
Sri Lanka is a great place to visit- highly recomended
I agree with Cazz it's not about age, I've travelled solo with The Adventure Company to Nepal last year and previous on solos holidays with other companies, I've met some great people of all ages and had some great times, including being driven across the sahara in a dune buggy by an 80 year old who thought he was in a grand prix!
Go for it!
Hi - I'm in the process of booking my first solo holiday - Active in Pyranees at end of June into July. Bit nervous about going it alone but you seem like a friendly bunch (!) so I thought I'd give it a whirl - nothing to lose and hopefully a great time to gain!
Hey,
I am planning to travel solo this year.Never been travelling with this company as well as never had a chance to travel solo. So,anyone planning to go on a solo trip trip this year get in touch, where you wish to go and when?
may there be many more trips ahead for you.
i love active holidays. nothing like coming home worn out, but happy. you can put your feet up anytime.
all the best.
Hey,
Sounds like similar situation to me. I'm thinking of the Nepal trek but am bit apprehensive ...
How about yourself?
Hi, I'm doing a solo trip this year with these guys. Booked in for Gokyo lakes in October. Previously I have done solo independent trips to South America and got on fine. From reading the threads here I reckon there will be a few solo travellers on each trip so there is nothing to worry about...
I've been on many solo trips over the past ten years ranging from 3 people (Vietnam and Botswana) to 28 (Hong Kong). I've not been disappointed at all as everyone is very friendly and in the same position - although 28 was too many for a "small group"!!!!
Hi - have also booked my first "solo" trip - Empire of the Inca 2nd July; not really worried about going it alone because even when I've travelled as a family, couple or group of friends, have always meet great folks. Just hopeful that they get enough people to run the trip! Cant wait!
Hi Cazz - go for it; I'm 50 next and some of the threads on other parts of this website refer to 60 & 70 year olds; age is just a number - if you're up for it, go for it!
