I'm not going going away with you guys, but I did go on this trip and my on my own for the first time in 2009 and was AMAZING! and really miss it.
Hope you all have just as a awesome time as I did!
I am headed on this trip as well, looking forward to it. Meeting up in Africa as I am pre travelling in Ethopia and Kenya. Canadian here, where is everyone from?

Nice to meet you Andy! Have you been on safari before? I have many times, but in SA. Slightly nervous about the camping bit, I'm sure it's going to be great though. Time is flying by, before we know it, it will be October. Need to start organising myself and get all the gear we need!
Hopefully we can get in touch with some of the others too before the big departure.

Hi Mel, does camping in the wilds of North Wales count as a safari??
Never done a safari, never really done a trip like this before. Everyone has said "are you nuts?" but I think the camping will add to the whole experience - wart(hog)s et al! looking forward to it.
