Hi Lottie & Sara,
I am on that flight as well so we should see each other there, its always fun looking at the queue and guessing who is on the trip, the red tags are normally a give away. I am travelling on my own as well and have managed to blag a lift off my friend to drop me off and collect me from the airport, i am travelling across from Somerset.
From your first post Lottie i guess the office said how many people were booked? was there many?

I had an email from Heathrow this morning with a special offer on parking, i have just book into the longstay carpark at T4 for £31.92. Here is the link if anyone is interested:

I think i am almost ready although i wont stuff everything into the rucksack before Friday morning, took advantage of this great weather to wash and dry my sleeping bag. Trying to make sure my house is clean and tidy as my sister is staying at mine whilst i am away.

I am sure there is a regular underground train from Kings Cross from memory so i am sure you will be fine, sounds like the Volcano has calmned down a bit now and is only puffing steam! long may that continue. Cant believe its looming so quickly now!! still roll on Friday

I'm on my own too. Are you flying as part of the trip or have u booked your own flights? I'm doing it with the trip this time as it was all a bit last minute. Flying out from Heathrow at 6.10pm. Maybe see u there ;)

Must remember to book my airport parking ;) You both just reminded me lol. When I booked there were only 6 of you on at the time. There's a couple in their 50s and a mum and her 15 yr old daughter plus you guys. A small but select bunch :) Sounds like you have travelled with this company before. I will look out for the red tags haha.

Yes also flying out of Heathrow sure it'll be the same flight as you. I'll be travelling down by train from Yorkshire in the morning. If you want to meet up at the airport shout up.

thanks Nigel, I've decided to catch the train down from Wakefield on the Friday morning, and then ex hubby is picking me up from airport when we get back as in work on the Sat so not much margin if we get delayed lol!
On last shift tonight then on leave so will be able to get myself organised! so far not managed to sort anything out for trip apart from my sleeping bag!

Getting train into Kings Cross, am I right in thinking there is a train link from there to Heathrow? not done it by train before as always flown down. fingers crossed should have plenty of time as long as not too many delays.

Thanks Nigel, got loads of time hopefully as train gets in about 11am so sure someone will point me in the right direction! just need to find some time to get my kit sorted, turned into as hectic week as usual, but starting to get giddy now should be a good trip.
