This is my first trip alone....the worst bit will be getting across london!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No tips I'm afraid, this is my first trip on my own, dreading getting across London, but really looking forward to the trip. I'm travelling down from Inverness.

Never done anything like this before so no tips really. I've just googled desert trecking checklist and had a read of a few articles and what to pack etc.
Less than a month now woo hoo

I'm travelling down the day before so I don't have the stress of rushing across London. Staying near Heathrow so it's just a quick bus to the terminal.

I am flying in from Dublin and also traveling solo, I will be there a little earlier so will put the red tag on my hand luggage and hopefully we'll get to meet before we board. I see it is recommended that we change US$ or Sterling, I assume they'll change Euro too. Really looking forward to the trip now! See you guys on Sunday :-D. Ann
