What type of backpack are you taking?

When I think of everything I want to take I'll probably end up with more than 1 backpack lol-it's only the thought of having to actually lug stuff around in the heat that might make me see sense! My backpack has a space in the bottom for sleeping bag etc., but it doesn't seem to have that much space for anything else.

Hi folks!
I'm going on this trip too and am also flying from Heathrow by myself. Tried buying some Dirhams today and found out that it's a closed currency. Felt a little bit silly queuing up at the post office for that bit of info.....
Really excited about this trip - between them, my colleagues have given me three emergency foil blankets, a poncho and a water filter drinking straw. Not sure what they are expecting to happen to me on this trip.

Oh well - At least we won't die from hypothermia then! I've got a First Aid kit-which on closer inspection has only got safety pins and 2 tourniquets-could come in handy along with the foil blankets tho!
