Hi Karen,
It was really hard to make the choice, in the end I decided seeing the Taj Mahal would be a once in a lifetime thing and then the possibilty of seeing tigers in the wild was a chance not to be missed.
Hope this helps you with your choice, let me know what you decide to to.

Hi, will be travelling down from Manchester late on Friday 6 November, just wondering if anybody would like to share cost of hotel room for the night?
My flight from Manchester gets in to Heathrow at 21.55. Flight to Delhi via Doha leaves at 07.55 so will prob need to be at airport for 05.00 (I think its 3 hours before for an internationl flight) Is it worth getting a room, I know I'll be too excited to sleep, might just hanf around airport.....
Yeah, jabs all sorted, just needed topping up from last trip, not sure what to do about malaria tablets, keep hearing different things, whats your take on it?
Applying for visa in the next couple of days, how about you.
Hotel in Delhi looks ok, well much better than I expected....
Just booked this trip, and now cannot wait for it. If this trip is as good as what I have heard it is, then I will be considering Vietnam for next year with the Adventure Company.

Think I am traveling up from Devon on the day in the early hours depending on flight times. But we could meet at the airport before departure.
Karl
Hmm yeah that isn't much time once you have collected your bags at the airport and arrived at the hotel. Like you say, will be hard to sleep that night.
Have you sorted visa and vaccinations yet?
Vaccinations being sorted this week along with visa, just need to get 2 photos done so it can all be set away. With regards to malaria tablets, I will see what the doctors say. Will let you know what they say.
Karl
Just to let you know that the nurse told me not to worry about malaria tablets as it is a low risk area we are going to.

Hi Christine,
I was considering the trip for the date you mentioned but am torn between that and the Delhi to Kathmandu trip. What were your reason for choosing the "Foothills" one?
Karen.
We went last May and it was fabulous. Hope you have Sher Singh as your guide, he was superb. Make sure you go on any extra walks and visits, there are some nice surprises, and don't miss the temple ceremony in Rishikesh. If you're prepared for the inevitable Delhi Belly it won't spoil your trip! Have a good time, food will be great.
We're off to Tanzania on Saturday.
