Himalayan Adventure 9 April 2011
Less than 3 weeks to go now, my friend Diane and I booked this trip well over a year ago, to celebrate big birthdays!! and are now busy making the last preparations. Would be good to hear from others in the party, has anyone done anything similar? any tips and advice - we are completely new to this type of holiday!

Hi, we are booked on this trip on the 16 April and are wondering what sleeping bags to take and if we really need waterproofs and warm trousers. Would like to know what you guys are planning on taking.
Thanks!
I'm on the 9th April Trip - looking forward to it! Have just started getting my gear together so it's becoming more real!
Hi
We are booked on the 9th April for the Himalayan Adventure, my daughter would love to introduce herself to the other children travelling before we go are any of them on here?
With regards to the kit query - I would say if you don't have a pair of waterproofs take a pair which will dry easily and a pair of fleecy lined walking trousers.
