Hi HC,
I am on this trip! I posted a similar topic ages ago and had no replies so was starting to think I might be on my own!
Packing is pretty much done although I am a little worried that I have very few changes of clothes with me due to the weight restrictions. I imagine that we will all just smell as bad as each other.
Just can't wait to get out there and start trekking now. Bored of watching videos on youtube and reading blogs of the trek and want to experience it myself.
Have you done anything similar before? I went to Peru and hiked the Inca Trail to MP last year and wanted to do one more trek. I now have a nine month old baby so I imagine that this is the last holiday of this type that will get my wife's blessing.
Are you from the UK? If so, we will probably be on the same flight next Friday.
Jon
Hi Jon,
I fly out today i'm having a extra week in KTM before the trek.
Its good you replied I was thinking the same - this seem very quite!
I havent done anything like this before so will be a real challenge, but like you i've read too many reviews now and just want to get out there!!
Packing is done and im sure i have too little but im trying to keep it simple.
Looking forward to it, see you out there!!!
Hi KC,
Great, enjoy Kathmandu! Scope out some good places for a beer for some pre/post trek drinks.
See you soon.
Jon
Sorry, HC!
Will do, post trek beers will be a must!!
