BASE EVEREST 19/11/10
Hi all,
Most probably going to be booking this trip within the next few days. Anyone else within the Forum preparing for this date? I will be travelling alone and therefore would love to chat to anyone else who would be coming along.
Looking forward to speaking to you all soon.

Must also admit that the thought of travelling alone is a new for me and it is quite daunting especially to such a closed section of the world. I really hope there is a full group full of friendly people who love to have fun and enjoy a laugh as this would make this trip even more memorable than it already is.
Right all booked. I cant wait!
Anyone???
Hi there to all those going on the Everest Base Camp Trek on 19th. Nov. 2010. I was due to go on 22nd. Oct. but cancelled at the last minute as my Father sadly passed away.
Today re- booked for this date and really looking forward to meeting up with everybody for a great trek. This will be my second attempt at reaching Base Camp as I failed in Oct. 2006 after 8 days hard trekking I had to turn back on the last days walk to Base Camp due to severe dehydration.
I am determined to get there this time and hopefully a few of us can at least get to know each other a little beforehand through this page.
Regards,
John
Hi John
Sorry to hear about your dad.
We will all push each other to reach the base camp.
Not long to go now I can't wait.
Good to finally speak to someone else on this trip
