Hi Caroline & Zac,
Sorry only just seen your message. No we're not taking Malaria tablets - they aren't necessary for Kathmandu, Pokara and the Himalayas. Also no, we haven't had the vaccinations you mention. I think it is Hep A we had a while ago, but not Hep B I don't think.
Look forward to seeing you soon!

Yes we'll look out for you Caroline. There's another lady, Karen, who I've met on Facebook, who is travelling with her father. Wonder who they other 10 people are? No sgn of them on here. See you soon :>))

PS Just had a message from another Facebook friend who returned today from the same trip. They had 20 inches of snow when crossing the pass!! Here's the message I received:-
hi val, the annapurna circuit was fantastic, we had 95% heat , rain storms, dust storms, and going to thorong pass had 20 " of snow, brilliant, good luck wish i was going back with you, enjoy yourself nice one
Hi Val & Dave
Also getting excited now! i will be travelling with my son so we are keeping fingers crossed for good weather!
Can i ask if you are taking Malaria tablets with you / and have you been injected for either Hep B or Japanese A Encephalitis?!!

Phew! i was beginning to worry that we would be the only ones under vaccinated!
Looking forwards to meeting everyone - we usually try to spot Adventure Company Travellers at the departure lounge! We will be easy to spot! My son is 6 ft and i am just a little shorter! we will be wearing our walking boots & jackets most likely as they are the heaviset things to pack!
do come over to say hi if you spot us! Otherwise see you in Kathmandu!
