Adventure Nepal - March Departure
Hi Everyone,
I've just booked up for Nepal in March. I'd love to hear from anyone also going on that trip and also from anyone with packing tips.

Hi Sue,
I'm on the March trip too, I will be joining as land only as I'm flying from Manchester. I can't wait!
Best wishes,
Jo
Hi Jo
Are you just visitng Nepal or are you doing Base Camp?
Im doing EBC land only and flying from manchester, Qatar airways 23rd March at t time I think. Manged to arrangea ten hour stop in Doha which should be operfectly timed for a tax free Ipad3.
Getting close now Jo. Are you waiting until Kathmandu to get your visa? Adventure Co said this was normal so that's what I'm doing but a bit nervous about leaving it to the last minute. I'm just getting over the side effects of rabies shots at the moment. I found it really hard deciding which shots to get and which to leave but I wish I'd got them sooner to be sure of being completely over them before travelling.
I'm flying from Guernsey to LGW then on to LHR to join the group. So, see you in Kathmandu !!!!! xxx
Two people here signed up for the Nepal trip. We've had long discussions about packing. Been advised not to take hard suitcases so we're going to use sports bags for main luggage and rucksacks for hand luggage. I hope the sports bags are up to the rigours of airline baggage handlers.
Look forward to meeting you both.
Barry & Shelley
Hi Barry and Shelley,
I've gone for a 65 ltr rucksack plus a daypack but will have to look into the airline rules. For example can the walking poles be attached to the outside of the bag etc. All a learning curve and adds to the experience.
Look forward to meeting you in Kathmandu in a fortnight!!!! Gulp!!!! x
Hi
Are you guys on the EBC trip or just the Nepal trip?
Hey guys I am doing everest base camp on the 09th of march if anyone is doing that. :D
Also signed up for the Nepal trip and wondering what to pack - how much warm stuff. Does anyone have any idea how warm/hot it might be and how cold it could get? Don't want to find I've taken loads of things I don't need!
