Hey Caroline,
I'm doing the Adventure Nepal trip as well - but departing 16th October..
Just been looking at your photos... look absolutely amazing! Can't wait!
Hi Charlie
I am leaving for Nepal on same date to do the Annapurna Circuit but did the Adventure Nepal trip you are doing, last year and it is AWESOME! if you have any questions do let me know as i would be happy to share things from my experience - i have some photos posted against my name of our trip if you wanted a sneak peak!
you will really enjoy it though and maybe our paths may cross in Kathmandu before we all set off on our respective journeys as i expect we will be flying out at the same time?
kind regards
Caroline
Hi Charlie
you will DEFINITELY find it a 'walk in the park' then so to speak if you are doing this much walking!! i found it a bit frustrating that we were not challenged a bit more as i thought it would be quite active but i think you sound plenty fit enough! i am doing the Annapurna with my 14 year old on the 23rd so hope this will be a bit tougher and am assured it will!
no problems with altitude etc on your trip!
cant think of anything that really stood out off of the inclusive trip but if i do think of anything then i will post again!
take care x
Hi Caroline,
Yes, great photos. We've been tramping up and down the Brecon Beacons this week-end to get acclimatised (to mountains - not Welsh weather).
We have a couple of questions:
It would be good to get your take on the trekking part... the distances each day don't look that long but how tough does the combination of steepness and altitude make it? (We are regular walkers on the South Downs, which are just pimples really.)
Are there any absolutely brilliant things that you came across and which were not part of the programme?
Hope you enjoy the circuit - sounds brilliant.
Charlie
