Hi Everyone, I'm also going and incredibly excited. I'm constanlty going to the gym to ensure I'm in top form. See you at the airport.
Jackie
Hi Guy and Becks - we are on the Nepal trip on the 18th, been madly trying to get all of our kit together as the weeks are going by rather too quickly!
We are Nepaleze virgins so its all a bit new but the more people we talk to the more we a looking forward to it.

Hello Fellow Walkers,
Santa hats sounds a great idea! We've got most of our gear sorted just trying to do some mad last minute fitness work!!! Arrrg! We're hoping we have enough warm clothing packed.
Only 10 days to go now.... yipppee!

Hi Sally - we are doing the same as it seemed to be the easiest and cheapest way to do it, dont forget to take you photo tho!

Hi Nigel, Cristina and Jackie
We're trying to make sure we've got all our kit too - just need to try packing it all into one bag and see how heavy it is at some point. We went to Snowdonia at the weekend to test out some of our new walking gear, so I think we're OK if it's foggy and raining with 60mph gusts!!
We've not been trekking abroad before, so not really sure what to expect. But can't wait to get started now!
See you all soon,
Guy and Becks
Hello fellow Nepal Adventurers
I am also booked on this trip and have been going to the gym and doing plenty of walking to get uber fit.
My main worry is how cold its going to be when we are camping at night: I have bought thermal underwear and a thermal liner for my sleeping bag and plan to use my Sigg waterbottle has a hot water bottle so I don't get cold. How is everyone else fixed.
Apparently you can pick up dead cheap walking gear in Kathmandu so don't need to spend all your money at North Face!
Should we bring Santa Hats for the porters?! Thought it might be fun!
Look forward to meeting you all
Sally
Hi guys
Look forward to meeting you all next Friday. TAC informed me that you get your Nepal visa on arrival (rather than in advance) and it costs around $36 - you have to pay in dollars. Is that what you are all doing?
Cheers
Sally
