22nd October Delhi to Kathmandu

I am also travelling solo and have just got my Indian Visa back, have you got yours? I had a fatastic 50th birthday and decided to treet myself to this trip, and I can't wait.

No I haven't travelled with them but have read some good reports. do we need to have any injections before we go.

have just watched the news about the commonwealth games, hope things improve before we get there.

I am off for my injections inan hour, not looking forward to them#-o . have been advised that I don't need malaria as there is little or no risk.
How are you getting to Heathrow? I am driving down and staying in a hotel on the sunday we come back.

Having booked awhile ago Im really pleased its almost October! I have travelled alot but never on this type of trip, have visas and insect repelent! Im not having any injections as Im already covered from a previous trip for some things and plan not to go swimming in the Ganges..... Company was recommended by a veteran solo traveller so I was fairly confident when I booked that it would be well organised.

Yes, I booked this trip yesterday. First time travelling solo. My family hate my type of holidays so I'M leaving them at home!

My visa is still being processed, hopefully won't be long now. Pleased to hear there's someone else within the group who's around my age! Have you travelled with this company before?

I'm now also in receipt of my visa, injections are up to date, anti-malarials ready for taking, just need to pack a bag. Looking forward to a break away from work. Won't be long now!

You've got me wondering about the anti malarials now, don't want to take them if it's not necessary. Will check up on it. I'm flying to Heathrow and back from Manchester.
