Himalayan Adventure

The whole cultural experience was excellent, brought together by an excellent and talented trip guide. The friendliness of the Nepalese people is remarkable and very welcoming.

[Least enjoyed] Not knowing who was not an adventure company member when being greeted at the airport.
The misty visibility obscuring the mountain views was disappointing.

The varied means of transport made it exciting.
The trekking through villages was the best way to get a feel of the local peoples as they were so ready to talk about their lives.
The guide was so apt at keeping the group positive and together when one member was struggling.

The accommodation is suitably pitched to provide you with a real experience of what its like in the real Nepal, in both the towns and the countryside, authentic.

It was fantastic to see in the villages a plaque acknowledging where the charity support money had come from . It is lovely to think that our tourist money is helping support the local staff and business because the adventure company use local people and they are grateful for it.

kush is an exceptional young man, he is a credit not only to the Adventure company and Himalayan adventures but as an ambassador to Nepal. He has the ability to keep the group together and inspired when flagging, to make every one feel special both child and adult. He entertains the kids and inspires the adults with local knowledge. He understand s what he is doing with tourists will enhance the lives of his local village people. Excellent and thank you for making our trip a life changes experience.

The trek - which could have benefitted from being another day longer. The efficiency of all staff on the trip - especially the porters and kitchen staff whilst trekking - how do they manage to cook a three course meal at 1400ft?

[Least enjoyed] Too many people were booked on the trip - the brochure states maximum of 16 where as there were 18 on our trip. This was too many, especially when it came to squeezing on the bus and seating at restaurants. I feel we should have been consulted regarding the extra people

The hotel in the first and last two nights was not in the h otel it was supposed to be due to refurbishment. This was not really explained to us, the Hotel we did stay at however was adequate

Kush was superb! The children in the group adored him, he was efficient at all times, and always had a smile on his face. When my son became ill, he was immediately at hand with first aid remedies and ensured his well being.

The madness of Kathmandu
Walking through rice fields on the trek
Seeing rhinos from the back of an elephant
Talking with Buddhist monks

We were given too little time to explore places like Bodhnath on our own

We were expecting to rough it a bit, so the accommodation was overall better than anticipated

Our group leader was truly outstanding, and contributed hugely to making the trip so enjoyable. I cannot praise him enough

Herculaneum was fantastically preserved and our guide really brought it to life.
Our Group Leader Davide always went the extra mile and managed to arrange with a restaurant owner a football game for his family versus Dads and Lads on an astro turf pitch which was in a walled garden of a church with fabulous views over Sorrento. This wasn't on the itinerary but will certainly be remembered along with the other trip highlights of Vesuvius and Pompei.

Naples itself is pretty grubby and intimidating when walking at night with kids.
The itinerary which we had booked changed without prior notification which was very disappointing i.e. - we were not staying on a farm in Sorrento just apartments .Plus the website said there was a pool in the hotel at Capri which we thought would be great for kids after dragging them round museums and ruins. They were so disappointed when the hotel didn't have this after getting excited with the other kids about swimming/water polo. You really need to sort this out as we had a similar experience in Kenya last year when we were meant to be staying in a camp and ended up in another lodge.

Our Group Leader Davide was a real star. He always went the extra mile and he really made the trip.
He was obviously embarrassed that the holiday expectations for all families had been changed and organised extra thing such as football games etc for the kids. He was knowledgeable, fun and a fantastic organiser.
If he had not been there I think there could have potentially have been a mutiny.
He deserves a medal.

Tiger Trails & Taj Mahal - Family Holiday

Taj Mahal, elephant rides and visit to local school our children and their children were so excited to see and talk to each other also our guide Ved made our trip he went that extra mile showing us things that wern't even on the itinerary and he really bonded with the children.
A first class guide nothing was too much trouble.

I enjoyed all aspects of the trip obviously some mor than others

It was a full itinerary tiring at times but well worth it.

loved the heritage hotels would have liked maybe one les night in jaiper to have one extra night in last heritage hotel.

Ved was an excellent group leader he made sure everybody mixed together and spent time with everybody in the group, he was especially good with the children. Ved also showed us
extra things that wern't on the itinery. Like a trip on the metro in Delhi a visit to a Buddist temple and told us lots about the culture of India. He was a first class guide and made the trip extra special

Malta and Gozo Adventure

It was so great to be met at the airport.. taken to the hotel.. picked up for our activiites.. so stress free and enjoyable.

[Least enjoyed] Waiting at the ferry for ages as the other people on our trip had lost their case and were delayed.

I felt the description of the ager foundation day was very misleaded.. we were not in the tranquil pristine countryside with dogs to herd the sheep at all.. we were in the middle of the village in a rather smelly back yard of someones hosue.. It was a lovely day but it is not at all what I expected from the write up.. the fact our host and his wife were such lovely characters made it not matter that we were not in the pristine countryside with dogs as stated in write up!

In the first hotel in Gozo we had to be in two seperate rooms which were not even next to each other so my husband had to sleep in one room and I in the other with 2 of our children.. Much better in the Imperial where we had interconnecting rooms.

Johnny was totally fantastic and a really lovely bloke.. perfect for the job!

Fantastic guide and fabulous trip

Only 2 comments - first the iternary said "a short" transfer to the hotel from the airport.  therefore we expected iot to be around 1 hour.  It is 3 hours or so.  easier to manage children's expectations during the flight if we are given accurate information

Our guide, Marcel was fantastic - brilliant with kids and adults and incredibly knowledgable.  Worth his weight in gold!

As noted earlier - worth his weight in gold.  Keep using him!

Our guide Marcel was excellent and especially good with the 3 kids in our family group. Beautiful place and breathtaking scenery. Good hotels in both locations. All in all a really enjoyable trip. The only negative was that no cycle helmets were available

Excellent group leader who made the holiday

Alpine Activity Week

The white water rafting trip was enjoyed by all of us. It was exciting and exhilarating despite our novice status!
Mountain biking was best suited to the fittest and adventurous members of the party.

[Least enjoyed] transfer time from airport to resort

The hike on the first day was an excellent introduction to the area.
The visalp passes were also excellent as they gave access to all the local cable cars and other local activities such as tennis

James went out of his way to ensure that all our needs were catered for
