Family Activity Holidays

Whether your family’s a fan of activity holidays or just want to try something different, explore the world with adventure. Why not try scuba diving in Turkey, building an igloo in Andorra or enjoying a camel safari through the Sahara desert. Kids will love the thrill of commandeering your raft through the white water rapids and learning to boil an egg in a hot spring in Iceland. We grade our holidays on an adventure level, so if one holiday doesn’t have enough trekking opportunities for you, go up a grade.

Try something new

We have a wide range of family activity holidays that cover a variety of adventures, from scuba diving to trekking, kayaking to skiing so enjoy selecting a family activity holiday that is perfect for your family.

Hot and Cold

Some of our activity holidays are better suited to summer or winter, so take a look at what your family could experience on a summer and winter activity holiday.

Summer activity holidays

Summer holidays

For a warm summer holiday, set sail along the Amalfi coast, learning to sail with your personal skipper whilst following in the tailwinds of a powerful ancient civilisation. Head to the USA, warm, dry and sunny at this time of year, hike into the Grand Canyon or visit the incredible wilderness of Alaska.

It’s the African dry season, so perfect for kids on safari in the cooler temperatures; learn to throw spears with the Masai Warriors, snorkel in the crystal clear waters of Zanzibar or try some sandboarding in picturesque Swakpomund.

Winter activity holidays

Winter holidays

For those in search of some sun in the winter months, head to sun-blushed Burma and turn your hand to pottery making in the traditional Burmese way; kids will love their new found talent and will come home with great memories and souvenirs. Travel back in time and pretend to be Roman gladiators in the ancient town of Jerash, Jordan, before jumping into a 4WD for the ultimate desert adventure, topping it off with a night camping under the stars, Bedouin style.

For a truly white Christmas, try skiing, snowboarding and husky-dog sledding before warming up with a very hot hot chocolate in the fairy tale settings of Slovakia. Learn the unique skill of igloo building or explore the white winter wonderland on snowmobiles, not too far afield in Andorra.
