Drive to Dana, shops and Nature Reserve
This morning we asked our guide for some time to go shopping so we could get presents and souveneers etc. We stopped at place which had a variety of shops (sand shops, furniture and jewellery) I bought a sand (from Petra) filled bottle and got the man to write my friends name in English and Arabic on it. He did this by using glue on the inside of the bottle to write my friends name and then putting in the black sand before tipping any excess away. We then drove and bought food for our lunch at a local bakery. It was really cool because we were able to watch our bread being made and heated in the stone oven. Soon after we arrived at the guest house - I was really suprised. The rooms had either two, three or four beds in (singles and bunk beds), the rooms were spacious and with our own balconies. What made the guest house such an incredible place to be however were the views. Our balconies looked out onto the unspoilt beauty of the Nature Reserve. It was unlike anything I have ever seen before. The views we were looking at were once described by the queen as ten star views.
After eating our lunch we were allowed free time until 3:30. At 3:30 we went on a short walk in the mountains. About seventy metres up the road we saw by this building about eight puppies. They were so cute!!! They looked rather plump but didnt look as if they belonged to anyone so I think there mum still looked after them. We returned from our walk about an hour later to watch the sun go down! Our tea was really nice and not long after everyone returned to their beds. They were very comfy.....zzzz!
