Classic Cambodia
Discover adventure in the truest sense on a journey into the heart of South East Asia, exploring the ancient wonder that is Cambodia. A harsh recent history often overshadows holidays to Cambodia and although still a genuine off the beaten track adventure destination are now fast becoming a highlight of any South East Asia tour.
From the vibrant capital city Phnom Penh, discover the spectacular Sliver Pagoda, the colourful Royal Palace and the moving Tuol Sleng Museum, documenting the country’s tragic and brutal past. For those interested further in recent history; a trip to the Buddhist memorial at the ‘Killing Fields’ of Choeung Ek is a must. Cambodia holidays however provide so much more than this. A rich cultural history is apparent and important, a visit to the Apsara Foundation, whose aim it is to educate poor local children to become professional musicians and dancers’, conserving traditional arts and culture for future generations, demonstrates this.
The highlight for many who travel to Cambodia however is a visit to the country’s most famous landmark – the breathtaking temple complex of Angkor Wat. Located in Siem Reap, it covers over 400sq.km and takes days to fully explore. Its carved faces and spires, many still shrouded by jungle tree roots create an unforgettable atmosphere at a site which is arguably one of humanity’s most magnificent architectural achievements.

Family holidays in Cambodia
A Cambodia holiday is a real family adventure. Slower paced than destinations like Thailand and Vietnam, and easy to combine with neighbouring Laos, it’s a great introduction to the region for the whole family. From discovering the country’s recent past to venturing into the immense and ancient Angkor Wat, wandering through the ruins themselves and clambering over tree roots that even dwarf the buildings – its a completely unforgettable family holiday!
