About yourself

I am married to Alex and we are the proud parents of 3 young boys; George, Harry and Jack. I have worked in travel for 15 years.   My role here is to develop the family product and to ensure that we continue to deliver the best family travel experiences where families travel and share great experiences together. 

What do you love most about your job?

This job gives me the opportunity to create unbeatable family holidays that involve the family experiencing together and creating memories that will last a lifetime. We are not about kids clubs and room service. We are about exploration, excitement and adventure – all experienced together as a family.

What is your most memorable travel experience?

My Volkswagen campervan catching fire in Surfers Paradise after a 20,000 km trip round Australia .It was a very sad site , watching the flames eat her away. Finally got a new one now  - 16 years on.

Where have you been?

Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii, USA, Canada, Antigua, Barbados, Bahamas, Bermuda, St Lucia,  Ecuador and The Galapagos, throughout Europe , Dubai,  Oman, Bahrain, South Africa, Botswana,  Sri Lanka, Maldives and Thailand.

Where are you going next? (wishlist for year ahead)

I am hankering after a trip to Egypt with the family. The thought of sailing on a felucca down the Nile with my sons and uncovering ancient monuments and tombs filled with history is such an exciting one.

What inspires you to travel?

To discover new places, meet new people, walk new trails, swim new seas, eat new food and more importantly than all of those, to educate my children.  Travel is the best form of education and the world is the greatest classroom.
