About yourself

when I'm not geeking away on the latest technological development to enhance The Adventure Companies systems you'll probably find me miles away from the nearest computer. I spend a lot of my time in the great outdoors either on two wheels, on a surf board or running up, down and around mountains. I like sports and challenges where you travel under your own steam or using the forces of mother earth! I love to travel and I love a good road trip whether in the UK or overseas. My favourite place to be is any where in the mountains.

What do you love most about your job?

Variety, the people and the trips we sell. We are always looking to improve The Adventure Company so this means we get to work on a wide variety of IT projects. Everyone I work with has a passion for travel and a passion for working in travel which makes us all enthusiastic about work. On top of that we sell amazing trips to amazing places, its hard not to like your job when we are producing holidays that give people amazing experiences.

What is your most memorable travel experience?

Some recent memories include watching a hippo through the mozzi net of my tent as said hippo munched on the grass just a couple of foot away. Micro lighting over Victoria Falls and seeing lions and elephants just a few feet away in South Luangwa National Park in Zambia.

Where have you been?

Nepal, Romania, Croatia, France, Switzerland, Morocco, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Mali, Thailand, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Spain, Andorra, wales, Scotland and almost every hilltop in Surrey and Hampshire.

There is no reason not to go on holiday!

What inspires you to travel?

My desire to explore different cultures, my desire to get close to nature and my desire to get close to planet earth and exploring different wildernesses and mountains.
