About yourself
I am married with 2 grown up children. I have always loved travelling and go from one year to the next planning the next trip. Jouneys don't have to be in far flung places though, I have as much enjoyment in discovering what can sometimes be just on my doorstep. This summer we walked the West Highland Way followed by sea kayaking and wild camping around the shores and islands of Barra, absolutely stunning!
What do you love most about your job?
I love being in contact every day with our local agents all over the world. I have a great relationship with all of them and we really work hard together to make sure that the tours run smoothly.
What is your most memorable travel experience?
I can't really say that I have just one, there are several. Wildlife encounter has to be the mountain gorillas in Uganda, scenic memeroy, northern Pakistan where the Hindu Kush, Karakoram and Himalayan mountain ranges all converge, best trekking was in the Simien mountains of Ethiopia and I thought the people and food on Java were amazing. But then my 6 months living in the rainforest of Guyana with the local Makushi amerindians was a once in a lifetime experience
