About yourself

I am a local girl living in quite a rural corner of N.E Hampshire. I have been with The Adventure Company for nearly four years. Before I had a family I travelled quite a bit independently and some of my best memories are of the people I met and the places I've seen!  

What do you love most about your job?

Working as part of the Customer Service team! As a team we work well together and we always strive to give a good service to all of our customers.

What is your most memorable travel experience?

Probably travelling up the River Maderia in a local ferry boat through the state of Rondonia to Manaus in the Amazon, a journey of about 5 days. I slept in a hammock on the upper deck of the boat, which swung wildly at night when the breeze picked up, the food was terrible and and the drinking water took on a brownish tinge as the journey progressed!  But just seeing local life along the way and my fellow passengers more than made up for all the dicomforts.

Where have you been?

Australia, The Philliphines, Israel, Egypt, Brazil, India, Sri Lanka, Canada, Morocco and various countries within Europe.

Best travel tip

Take a pkt of wet wipes with you and stuff to keep you or the kids amused on long journeys!

What inspires you to travel?

Everything really, different cultures, different scenery, different food, different smells!.....
