I love to travel. From family holidays as a child, shlepping through Europe in my Dad’s estate car, to my first chance to spread my wings on my own, right up to my most recent Adventure Company journey, it’s my passion and my obsession. I’ve spent weeks travelling coast to coast across America, LA to New York discovering the many weird and wonderful cities in between, and a year travelling around Australia – following the backpacker routes, occasionally wandering off the beaten track and loving every minute. Eventually I had to come home to the UK and join the world of real work (as opposed to fruit picking and demonstrating robots at a LEGO exhibition) and in 2006 I was lucky enough to join The Adventure Company. As well as being a fantastic place to work I have been able to continue discovering the world on our own trips, having already visited Egypt, Jordan, Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras. Unfortunately the more places I go, the more I realise there is to still explore, and I can’t think of a better way to do it!
