Solo Traveller
We’ve developed a range of dedicated solo holidays & solo travel packages; exclusively for people booking on their own. Around 40% of all our passengers are solo travellers.
Trekking in the Annapurna Region
The Annapurna Region is one of the most stunning trekking holiday regions in the world with routes to suit all abilities.
We offer two trekking holidays in the region and with both you’ll have time in Kathmandu to explore this bustling city, time in Pokhara, the gateway to the Annapurnas, and Bandipur - a stunning hilltop village, unchanged for centuries.
The Annapurna Circuit adventure is the region’s classic long distance trek. On our 16 day trip you’re surrounded by the stunning Annapurna range everyday. The highest point is the Thorung Pass, at 5,416m, but for most of the trek you’ll be in and out of the
Rhododendron forests at around 3,000m. Due to the length of this Nepal trekking holiday this is best suited for people with previous walking experience.
The shorter Annapurna Sanctuary circuit is suitable for all people with a reasonable level of fitness; the ascent is steady, gaining 3,060m in 6 days. This is a beautiful 9 day trek up the stunning Modi Khola’s gorge, passing stunning rural villages and rice terraces on the way.
The sacred mountain of Machhapuchhare offers a stunning backdrop for most the walk, while once you reach your destination, Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130m, you’ll be surrounded by a stunning natural amphitheatre of the Annapurna range and have a magnificent views of the south face of Annapurna 1 & 3.
The best time to trek Annapurna is pre and post monsoon; September – November & March – April. During the winter months, December – February, there is plenty of snow on the ground so it offers an extra challenge. As with all our Nepal trekking adventure holidays we’ll organise everything; the teahouses, permits, flights, guides and porters, so you can just enjoy the trek.
