Nicky Macfarlane
My first adventure was as a child travelling to South Africa on a cargo ship, my travel experience continued as a teenager in Australia where I lived, before returning to the UK to study for a degree. I have been lucky enough to visit some great countries and see some fantastic sites. My travels highlights so far include speeding across a frozen lake in Finland on a snow mobile, spotting lions in the Kenya & Kruger national parks whilst on Safari, touring round Sri Lanka and a road trip in South Africa along the Garden Route to Cape Town, with a spot of wine tasting on the way. I joined The Adventure Company earlier this year, having worked in travel throughout my career. My next adventure is to India and Nepal, where I’ll be seeing the Taj Mahal and hopefully spotting Tigers in Chitwan National Park – I can’t wait!
