Linda Harris
I first got the travel bug when I took a year out after University and travelled to the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Thailand and round Europe. I had hoped that this year would get my desire to travel out of my system. However, it only increased my appetite! I started working in travel when I got back and studied for a MA in Tourism. When I finished my MA, I decided I needed another break and headed off to South America for four months!
People often ask me what my favourite travel experience has been but I found it so hard to answer because there have been so many! I loved mountain biking down the World's most dangerous road in Bolivia, desert trekking in Egypt, piranha fishing next to a Caiman in Brazil or going on safari in Kenya and wherever I go, I enjoy meeting the locals and learning more about their culture.
