June Newsletter
Dear Traveller,
Indigenous tribes are making the headlines again with the recent discovery of the Envira community deep in the Amazon Jungle. Untouched by the outside world, we often have a lot to learn from these communities about the simple and healthy way of life, living in harmony with the environment. Some tribes are more than happy to share this way of life with travellers and we are lucky enough to be able to offer some of these experiences on life changing trips. Read on to find out more...

Make your nomination for the Responsible Travel Awards 2008
We recognise we are accountable for the way we affect the destinations and the local communities we travel to, without their unique landscapes, cultures and animals travelling would not be such a joy. For many years we have placed responsible tourism at the heart of our business. This is why we are proud to sponsor the ‘Best responsible tour operator’ category of the 2008 Responsible Travel Awards. If you’ve experienced good practice with us or another tour operator then please spend two minutes voting.
Nominate an Award winner before the deadline of Monday 16 June and you could win a prize holiday for 2 to India! Find out more at www.responsible tourismawards.com. |

Photo competition - Win £500 off your next adventure
Following on from our previous two tips, here is the third in the series to help you make the most of your photo opportunities.
Tip 3: Get creative - experiment with different angles. Shooting from a high angle can give you a birds eye perspective, whereas shooting something from a very low angle can exaggerate the scale and grandeur of the subject. You can also use it to emphasise items in the foreground such as a pebble or a tree stump.
Follow the link below to see details of prizes and enter the competition. You can also browse short-listed entries so far and see last year’s winners. |
