Good news for tigers in India
14 new tiger cubs were spotted during a recent ‘tiger census’ in May in Ranthambore National Park, India. That is great news for India, whose Tiger population hit an all time low of 1,411 earlier this year. The word from our tour leader in India is that tiger sightings have increased considerably since last October and nearly all groups on the ‘Wildlife & Moghul Cities’, ‘Tigers Taj and Temples’ and ‘Wildlife Safari’ trips have sighted the magnificent creatures. This could be the ‘purfect’ pick-me-up autumn trip. |

Photo competition - Last chance to win £500 off your next adventure
Following on from our previous three tips, here is the fourth and final tip in the series to help you make the most of photo opportunities. Competition closes 31st July 2008.
Tip 4: Try early morning or late evening to capture different types of light. As well as the obvious magnificent sun rises, sun sets and silhouettes, you can also capture a softer light which can be just as beautiful.
Follow the link below to see details of prizes and enter the competition. You can also browse short-listed entries so far and see last year’s winners. |
