Graham Bishop
I have always had the travel bug and thought I had sorted that by travelling by train around Europe after I left school. However the idyllic coastline of Corfu, the wonderful city of Prague and a few days in the Sierra Nevada in Spain did nothing but make me want to visit more places.
After a couple of mini trips to the far-east I headed to South America and ended up staying there for two and a half years, based in Cusco, Peru. Luckily I worked on the Inca Trail and I still consider Machu Picchu to be my favourite office!
Since returning to England I have mainly worked in the travel industry and have travelled to such far flung places as Nepal, Borneo, Namibia and Tanzania. I have a particular interest in birds, the rest of the natural world, sustainable development and preservation of local cultures, traditions and autonomy.
