Alistair Butchers
After years of family holidays in Europe and the odd school French trip to whet my appetite, my love of travel really grew in a year off after school, when a disagreement over whether to visit North or South America led me into travelling from Canada down to Brazil. Since then I haven't looked back.
I studied at university for a year in Chile, allowing me to visit the rest of South America. Every time I had a free week I would try to get to Europe to take in some culture or other.
I have recently returned from teaching English to Korean students in China, which served as a real eye-opener to me. Since working for the Adventure Company, my passion for travel hasn't dimmed, having recently visited Finland and Egypt, and still planning much more!
